Position Summary
The Associate JV Equity & Structured Capital is an expert on market elements that impact Commercial Real Estate (specifically JV Equity and Structured Capital executions) and performs in-depth financial analysis, manages deal processes, and is actively involved in helping the team manage/train more junior team members.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.
Travel Expectations - Up to 15% domestic travel may be required

Compensation
$200,000-$250,000 USD

The total compensation package for this role may also include additional incentive opportunities.

$125,000-$150,000 USD

Responsibilities
Essential Duties (Primary Responsibilities) include the following.
- Breakdown and analyze Client's Financial Models, Profit and Loss (P&L) statements and rent rolls.
- Utilize and help to maintain databases which track activity, construction pipeline, and other relevant real estate metrics
- Assist in preparing presentations & analysis for potential clients; attend client pitches/presentations
- Review industry surveys and benchmarks, as well as economic and demographic trends
- Assist with business development, client outreach
- Lead deal pitches and property tours alongside MDs, as requested
- Actively assist in the research, writing, and proofing of market intelligence for marketing materials
- Assist with preparing and presenting the results of the analysis, including graphics and charts, in a clear and concise manner
- Establish strong working relationships with internal teams and clients/capital sources to understand and identify their needs for market intelligence
- Experience with data analytics such as demographics, competitors, industry and real estate trends, etc. Ability to simplify and effectively communicate complex ideas in writing and through data visualization techniques to diverse audiences
- Track-record of high performance within a deadline driven environment
- Commitment to obtaining outstanding results
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment
- Other duties as assigned

- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience
- Preferred 2-3 years experience in real estate private equity acquisitions or investment banking
- Experience in a client-facing and production-oriented role
- Expert-level analytical and financial modeling skills
- Expert-level MS Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
