The Job

You are a systems-savvy producer with a product management mindset, known for driving delivery excellence, implementing scalable workflows, and fostering strong client partnerships. As Associate Production Director, you'll blend production rigor with digital systems strategy-scoping and structuring complex projects in platforms like Airtable, leading Agile working models, and aligning cross-functional teams to shared outcomes.

You're not just here to execute; you're here to architect better ways of working. You lead with insight-using data, tooling, and stakeholder feedback to inform workflows and optimize project health. You ensure work is not only delivered on time and within scope, but that systems, tools, and people are aligned to adapt and evolve with business needs.

Strong in change management and implementation, you thrive in environments where new processes are being built or matured. You're also confident guiding clients through strategic operational shifts, using structure and clarity to navigate ambiguity.

Through your leadership, client relationship management, and operational oversight, you'll shape the financial and delivery success of your accounts-bringing rigor to scoping, integrity to systems, and trust to every client interaction.

As a person, you are:
  • An experienced cross-functional team leader, able to balance product thinking and delivery rigor with a deep understanding of stakeholder needs and the client experience.
  • A strategic systems thinker, fluent in tools like Airtable and ticketing platforms, with an innate ability to break down ambiguous requests into structured, scalable solutions.
  • An agent of change, adept at implementing new systems, leading through transitions, and fostering alignment through documentation, UAT, and feedback loops.
  • Tactful and perceptive, reading a room and managing client relationships-even remotely or asynchronously-through trust, insight, and grounded decision-making.
  • A steady hand in pressure, leveraging Agile and project management best practices to stay proactive, mitigate risks, and guide teams toward delivery success.
  • A high-functioning collaborator, comfortable navigating tech, creative, and operations conversations, and always ready to pivot workflows in response to business need.

As a people manager, you will:
  • Lead by example, modeling our values and making them visible in your daily actions and interactions.
  • Communicate and motivate with the willingness to have candid conversations that drive excellence.
  • Inspire partnership and trust, fiercely supporting and encouraging your team to bring out the best in others and creating a culture of feedback to bring out the best in you.

As a worker, you will:
  • Define, own and manage complex scopes (including those over $5M), breaking them down into sprints, tasks, or phased roadmaps using Airtable
  • Translate strategic priorities into platform-driven solutions, overseeing implementation, QA/UAT, and ongoing documentation.
  • Maintain crystal-clear visibility into project health-surfacing insights on velocity, scope changes, and risk, and reporting up to the Group and Creative Directors.
  • Ensure smooth transitions from pitch to kickoff to delivery-structuring work in ways that empower teams and meet client expectations.
  • Guide change initiatives-rolling out new workflows, leading training, and serving as the point of accountability for system adoption.
  • Drive client growth by identifying operational gaps or white-space opportunities for expanded tooling, systems support, or production models.
  • Monitor team health and capacity with empathy and precision-flagging resource needs, managing morale, and adapting resourcing in real time.

As for experience, you need:
  • 7+ years in digital production, project management, or systems implementation in agency or large-scale corporate environments.
  • 5+ years of team leadership, with a strong track record of managing Producers, training teams on systems, and driving delivery evolution.
  • Proven experience in client-facing roles with strong negotiation, business development, and strategic planning capabilities.
  • A deep understanding of Airtable
  • Experience managing UAT processes, Agile ceremonies, and change initiatives involving cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Strong budget management capabilities, with experience building, maintaining, and tracking complex scopes.
  • Working knowledge of creative platforms (Figma, Adobe CC) is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred; additional 2 years of experience accepted in lieu.
