Associate, Quantitative Modeling Research (PGIM, Inc., Newark, NJ):
Design and development of quantitative models for calculation of valuation and risk metrics of securitized fixed income assets (collateralized loan obligations, commercial mortgage-backed securities, asset backed securities, residential mortgage-backed securities and others). Implementation and maintenance of the computer code to incorporate the above models in interactive and non-interactive applications. Undertaking research projects analyzing market and economics data for the purposes of assessing risk and forecasting returns of various fixed income assets.
Telecommuting permitted up to 40% per week.
Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Master's degree in Financial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field, and 2 years of related post-graduate work experience in the financial services industry.
Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience in all of the following:

- Designing and implementing quantitative models of interest rates and interest rate derivatives.
- Designing and implementing quantitative models of securitized fixed income instruments (CLO, CMBS, RMBS, or ABS).
- Developing analytical software in Python and C++.
- Managing and analyzing large scale datasets using modern data science technologies, such as R, Python notebooks, SPARK, or Cloud Technologies.
- Presenting quantitative model results to risk managers, portfolio managers, and other stakeholders with varying degrees of quantitative expertise.
- Writing technical reports and model documentation in the financial services industry.
