Description:

WECU is seeking an Atlassian Administrator to join our Digital Products team located in Bellingham, WA. This position is responsible for the ongoing development and management of WECU's Enterprise Service Desk. This position is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and extending our Atlassian suite in the Cloud. The Atlassian Cloud Environment includes instances of Jira, Jira Work Management, Jira Service Management, Confluence, Statuspage, and Bitbucket.

This position will support all end users and the products and will directly affect process implementation, integrate Atlassian products with other internal applications and drive efficiencies across the organization.

This is a position for an experienced professional with 5+ years of experience with a chance to be exposed to an enterprise computing environment. The qualified candidate should have good technical troubleshooting skills and excellent non-technical communication skills, both verbal and written.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage all aspects of WECU's Enterprise Service Desk including but not limited to development and design of processes, automation, workflows, custom fields etc.
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend current and emerging platform integrations and add-ons to meet team and business needs.
  • Oversee product design and implementations to increase efficiency, optimize existing workflows, and continually improve operations.
  • Lead complex technical projects that involve multiple departments and third-party vendors. Prompt issue resolution in coordination with other admins and partner teams.
  • Provide training for technical and non-technical teams on how to use the platform.
  • Provide updates to the business users on new features and functionalities. Plan and coordinate the roll out of those feature and functionality improvements.
  • Partner with various teams across the organization to provide best practices, automation, and improve each team's insights into their workloads.
  • Develop strategic business plan for the Enterprise Service Desk to ensure we are continually improving the experience and keeping up with the latest technology.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of enterprise-level reports and reporting tools.
  • Maintain documentation (run books, requirements, design documents, build, deployment, install guides) and process standards along with regular audits to validate accuracy.
  • Ensures important pieces of information are constantly being understood by all team members, communicating vision from top of company down.
  • Is nimble through changes, supports the end goal, and the process it takes to get there.
  • Mindful of strategic initiatives when making decisions, possesses the knowledge and capability to lead and support areas of responsibility.
  • As a vendor relationship manager, monitor all vendor contracts and service agreements, hold vendors accountable for their actions, and perform detailed responsibilities as noted in WECU's board-approved vendor management policy.
  • Follows policy and procedures related to the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) daily to ensure compliance with current regulations. Follows policy and procedures related to SARs by reporting suspicious activity to the Compliance department. Responsible for filling out an incident report for detected computer intrusion of Credit Union computer systems per Bank Secrecy Act. Completes mandatory BSA/AML annual training via online web course.
  • Follows WECU's policies and all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and may also assist others to complete tasks and work assignments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Systems & Applications Administration Experience: 5 years (Preferred)
  • Atlassian experience: minimum of 2 years
  • Excellent written and verbal communications, presentation skills, and interpersonal relationship skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to organize projects, prioritize workflow, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously and accurately.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with teams of all sizes as well as independently with minimal supervision.
  • Developing professional expertise and applying company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
  • Works on problems of moderate scope where analysis of situations or data requires a review of a variety of factors.
  • Exercises judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate action.
  • Builds productive internal/external working relationships.
  • Normally receives general instructions on routine work, detailed instructions on new projects or assignments.
  • Encouraged to accept stretch goals such as leading new projects and initiatives in the build area of their specialty.
  • Ability to maintain strict level of confidentiality and security in sensitive areas.
  • Ability to operate routine office equipment.

COMPENSATION:

The pay range for this position is $103,036. to $145,463. annually.
