Attention Senior Quantum Scientists!
Department: Quantum Processors
Employment Type: Full Time
Location: British Columbia, Canada
Description
Have you seen it all in quantum computing? Are you a leader in your field? Photonic is seeking senior, experienced applicants in all areas of quantum information technology: spin defects, quantum control, quantum circuit design and optimization, algorithms, fault tolerance, and error correction. At the lower end of the stack, you may have experience in spin-photon interfaces, dynamical decoupling, universal control, and gate compilation strategies. At the upper end of the stack, quantum resource optimization, universal logical gate set strategies, resource state and memory management, distributed quantum computing, and error correction codes and decoders could be in your toolbelt.
Leverage your expertise to help us build scalable, fault-tolerant quantum computers based on photonically-linked silicon spins!
At Photonic, you will work with a highly collaborative and multi-disciplinary team of scientists and quantum engineers responsible for quantum metrics, sequencing, networking, error correction, fault tolerance, and algorithms, or a relevant subset of the above. You will enjoy significant freedom to find novel solutions to the most important problems in quantum computing. Please note that this is a general application posting, and you are not applying for a specific role. We are actively reviewing applications, but we may not be in touch right away.

Please include a cover letter with your resume (in one file) describing how you would be a great fit at Photonic and what attributes you could bring to our growing team.
Some of the attributes you could bring to our team:
WHY YOU SHOULD WORK WITH US
The description above is what we think an ideal candidate would look like for this role. At Photonic, we understand that everyone has a different work and life journey. If you feel your experience is close to what we've described, but you might not meet all the requirements, please still apply!
