THE POSITION: The Juvenile Prosecutor is responsible for reviewing police reports and initiating cases related to Juvenile matters, Child Protection issues, and Mental Commitments. This role involves interviewing victims and witnesses to assess testimony, preparing them for testimony, and keeping them informed about case progress. The attorney studies and applies relevant laws, court decisions, and legal authorities in the preparation of various legal documents, such as opinions, petitions, motions, and briefs. Additionally, the position includes conducting post-conviction proceedings, thoroughly preparing cases for hearings, and initiating case files with necessary documentation. The attorney also oversees the preparation of correspondence, pleadings, and reports, ensuring effective legal representation throughout the legal process.

- $87,838.40 to $107,328.00 per year depending on experience

DO YOU QUALIFY?
- Do you have a Juris-doctorate degree from an accredited law school and a Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university and a preferred one year related experience and/or training?
- Have you successfully passed the Idaho State Bar examination or otherwise been admitted to practice law in Idaho?
- Do you have or have the ability to obtain a valid driver's license and are you insurable?
