Auditor

Responsibilities:

• Lead and conduct audits of financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
• Assess business processes, identify risks, and recommend control improvements to mitigate operational and financial risks.
• Prepare detailed audit reports, presenting findings and recommendations to management, and ensuring that corrective actions are implemented.
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance on audit techniques and review of their work for quality assurance.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment on audit plans and address audit issues effectively and efficiently.
• Stay updated on changes in regulations, accounting standards, and auditing practices, and implement necessary adjustments in the audit approach.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CIA certification preferred.
• 4+ years of auditing experience, preferably in public accounting or corporate internal auditing.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and internal auditing standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Proven ability to lead audit projects and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with senior management and stakeholders.

Compensation: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
