SUMMARY
Using the principles of Toyota Production System (TPS) this position is responsible to integrate innovative solutions and technology in our operations in logistics, warehousing, transportation management, and cutting-edge automation. This position must be a highly motivated and forward-thinking Engineer to champion our technological initiatives across our SBU. In this pivotal role, this position will bridge the gap between current functions and technology, leading the evaluation, selection, and implementation of automation and digital solutions to revolutionize our operational and business capabilities.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluate operational needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Analyze current processes to identify automation opportunities.
- Assess market solutions for warehouse automation, transportation management systems, and digital tracking platforms.
- Design future-state processes and implementation frameworks incorporating new technologies.
- Develop technical specifications and integration requirements.
- Lead proof-of-concept projects and pilot implementations.
- Coordinate with vendors, IT teams, and stakeholders during solution deployment.
- Lead technical discussions and manage relationships with technology vendors and solution providers.
- Guide project teams in technology selection and implementation strategies.
- Ensure alignment between operational needs and technological solutions.
- Create technical documentation and standard operating procedures.
EDUCATION & SKILLS REQUIRED
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Systems, or related Engineering field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain technology implementation
- Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS)
- Experience with automation technologies in logistics operations
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
