Automation Test Engineer

Test automation experience with deep hands-on and coding skills with Java & Selenium

Hands on experience in following tools:

Maven, TestNG, Cucumber, JIRA, HP ALM

Orchestration tool, SCM, as needed to fit the automation scripts into pre-existing pipeline

Good to have API automation skills

Experience in Automation Life Cycle activities like the following:

Framework development / enhancement (BDD & Non BDD), Feasibility analysis, Executing PoCs if needed

Estimation, Planning, Implementation (Script Development, Maintenance, Execution etc.,) with design efficiency

Knowledge on Load Runner and Groovy Scripting

Experience in Agile based testing & automation projects

Work closely with stakeholder teams like Business Analysts, Developers, Architects in understanding the requirements of the application to be tested & automated

Define test process & strategy

Design functional test, identify regression tests, test prioritization & Selection of tests for automation

Raise defects during execution and advocate them in the triage meetings

Manage stake holder expectations with an effective communication

Manage the team to ensure on-time delivery to the customer

Bacheors Degree in IT/Technical Degree
