About the Role
Trinity IT is seeking an Automation Test Lead with a background in Systems Engineering to join our team supporting a testing initiative for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a government client. The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation expert with deep knowledge of SAP ECC, Worksoft, and Solution Manager (SolMan).
This position requires a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance, which requires US citizenship.
This position is contingent upon award of contract.

Trinity IT is seeking an Automation Test Lead with a background in Systems Engineering to join our team supporting a testing initiative for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for a government client. The ideal candidate is a hands-on automation expert with deep knowledge of SAP ECC, Worksoft, and Solution Manager (SolMan).

Responsibilities:
- Lead automation testing efforts across regular, maintenance, and off-cycle releases.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Worksoft Certify.
- Plan and execute verification and validation methods; establish traceability of requirements to test cases.
- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test documentation in line with QA standards.
- Conduct automated test execution in support of SAP ECC (for customer's ERP).
- Analyze test results, identify deficiencies, and recommend resolutions.
- Collaborate with developers, analysts, and government leads to coordinate test events.
- Maintain and expand a reusable automation library for functional and regression testing.
- Mentor junior testers and support onboarding of team members.
- Assist with test tool upgrades and ensure alignment with T&E processes and policies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of systems engineering or testing experience, with a focus on automation.
- Active SECRET security clearance.
- Expert-level experience with:
- SAP ECC (Enterprise Central Component)
- Worksoft test automation suite
- SAP Solution Manager (SolMan)
- Proven ability to generate, document, and execute test strategies and plans.
- Strong skills in test data analysis, defect tracking, and stakeholder communication.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience supporting DoD or other ERP programs.
- Knowledge of ERP-specific testing processes.
- Familiarity with T&E documentation, CDRLs, and government reporting standards.
- Certifications such as ISTQB, Worksoft Certify Professional, or ITIL are a plus.
