We are a thriving, family-owned dealership, seeking an experienced Controller (CFO) to lead our financial operations and join our team. Based at our Franchised store in northern Louisiana, we also operate another satellite used car location within 20 minutes of our franchised dealership.
***Prior experience in a dealership as office manager, Comptroller, Controller, or CFO required for consideration.***

Your Responsibility:
- Oversee all financial operations, including billing, accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), general ledger (GL), cost accounting, inventory accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare and deliver accurate, timely monthly financial statements.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes with precision.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements, including tax filings.
- Conduct financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting to drive informed decision-making.
- Maintain quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
- Supervise and mentor our 5-person accounting team, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Requirements
What You Bring:
- Experience with Reynolds/Reynolds or other automotive software
- Proven expertise in accounting principles.
- Strong skills in budgeting, forecasting, and cash management.
- Deep understanding of debits/credits, IFRS, and technical accounting standards.
- Sharp financial acumen and the ability to analyze complex data.
- Leadership experience managing an accounting team with a hands-on approach.
- Proficiency in regulatory compliance and reporting.
