Position Summary:

A Service Manager oversees all administrative and operational aspects of a service department. Hiring, training, and evaluating technicians, Service Advisors, and support staff, maintaining all service records, and ensuring the department runs efficiently with a high customer and employee retention rate. This role is vital to maintaining strong relationships with manufacturers, dealers, and sales representatives.

The pay range is commission based, with a target income of $100,000 to $120,000 annually.

  • You have experience working with the software, DealerTrack (preferred but not required)

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manufacturer Relations - Maintain Positive Relationships with Representatives and achieve expected performance standards
  • Asset Management - Maintain a competitively positioned, clean, safe, secure, and environmentally responsible facility within budgetary guidelines and fully comply with all internal, brand, manufacturer, and regulatory standards.
  • People Management - A competent, motivated, and stable staff of automotive service professionals
  • Financial Management - Consistently Achieve Performance Metrics and the protection of the financial assets of the business
  • Customer Relations - Superior reputation among customers and the community; a loyal and growing owner base.

Requirements:
  • Must have a proven track record of success and a minimum of 3+ years of experience working as a Service Manager/Advisor in an automotive dealership
  • Other previous automotive management experience will be considered
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Current, valid driver's license and satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report (MVR)
  • High School Diploma and 2+ years of Automotive Technology Education or relevant work experience
