Job Summary:
As the Automotive Service Manager at our lower Fairfield county dealership, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the service department. This includes ensuring high-quality customer service, efficient operation of the service department, and achieving financial targets through effective team management. You will be leading a team of service technicians and advisors, and collaborating with other departments to provide a seamless and exceptional service experience for our customers.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full-time role with a base salary of $120,000 to $160,000 per year, in addition to commission based on performance. The salary will be paid biweekly. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and employee discounts.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of the service department, including scheduling, workflow management, and customer service.
- Hire, train, and supervise service technicians and advisors, ensuring a highly skilled and efficient team.
- Monitor and analyze department performance and implement strategies to achieve financial targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers by ensuring exceptional service and resolving any issues promptly.
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales, finance, and parts to ensure a seamless and efficient service experience for customers.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Stay updated on automotive industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve service operations.

Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a managerial role in the automotive service industry.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in computer systems and automotive software.
- Strong knowledge of automotive technical and mechanical processes.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
