Automaxx of the Carolinas is currently seeking a full-time Service Manager to lead our high-performing service department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader to oversee day-to-day operations, manage a team of skilled technicians, and ensure exceptional customer service while maintaining high-quality service standards. DAY TO DAY
This full-time automotive management typically operates five days per week, Tuesday through Saturday, allowing for a better work-life balance with guaranteed Sundays and Mondays off. Our service department is open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM daily.
As an Automotive Service Manager, you will oversee the efficient operation of the service department, ensuring that all appointments are handled promptly and professionally. This involves managing a team of technicians and writers, assigning tasks based on skill levels, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. The Service Manager is also responsible for reviewing repair orders, ensuring proper documentation and accuracy, and communicating with guests to explain services, estimates, and progress. Additionally, the manager monitors the department's productivity, sets performance goals, tracks progress, and ensures that customer complaints or concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner. They work closely with the sales and parts departments to ensure seamless operations and may also be responsible for managing inventory, ensuring that parts and supplies are available as needed. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols, and staying up-to-date with industry standards and trends are also key aspects of the role.

We have state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to provide both electrical and mechanical diagnostics, tires, brakes, suspension repair, alignments, and A/C repair, just to name a few of our offered services. In addition to these services, we also install lift kits and aftermarket accessories for a multitude of vehicles.
