The AVP, People Success Partner is a crucial role that will foster company growth by partnering with business leaders to develop and execute People Success (HR) initiatives. This role will build value through an embedded approach and deep understanding of business priorities, focusing on organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, and more!

Specifically, the Key Responsibilities for this position are:

Organizational Effectiveness
  • Participate in developing and executing the company's People Success strategy.
  • Build and iterate parts of the Corporate Talent System - such that employee learning, development, succession, and culture drive productivity, engagement, and performance.
  • Takes the lead on consulting on employee engagement survey analysis, results communication, and action planning initiatives.
  • Understand team dynamics to inform and guide department leaders on team effectiveness
  • Design and structure departments, business units, organizations and jobs to optimize organizational design and structure.
  • Leveraging the most effective change management model from a breadth of experience to drive successful transformation and support employees in navigating their own change journeys.
Internal Consulting Domain
  • Utilize expertise in coaching and contracting skills to provide both coaching and mentoring to senior leaders, emerging leaders, and employees when the situation requires.
  • Demonstrate diagnostic and situation assessment skills using various methods (asking the right questions, surveying, focus groups, interviews) to quickly uncover the root cause, needs, and real issues using data to inform possible solutions.
  • Bring in the right internal or external resources to ensure organizational needs are addressed while being able to work through conflicting priorities.
  • Establish credibility throughout the organization with management and employees to be an effective listener and solution-finder for people issues.
  • Continually assess the competitiveness of all programs and practices against the relevant comparable companies, industries, and markets.
HR Expertise
  • Leverage and analyze both internal and external data to inform decision-making.
  • Build and constantly develop business and industry knowledge to enable effective budgetary spending and inform general decision-making.
  • Partner with the VP, People Success, Talent Development, and Department Heads to manage succession, slates, and readiness for roles within the organization.
  • Resolve employee inquiries and problem-solve issues.
Required Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, accounting, or finance, or a minimum of 12 years' relevant HR experience
  • At least 5 years in a human resources business partner role.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience with coaching in a professional setting, including a background in coaching leaders.
  • At least 3 years' experience leading and executing Performance Management processes leveraging technology to manage programs such as talent assessments & reviews, succession planning, and career pathing.
  • Experience partnering on complex company-wide HR initiatives
  • Experience supporting international business units.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and an ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation abilities, including the ability to communicate complex ideas to large groups and Department Heads.
  • Demonstrated ability to build broad-based relationships and trust across diverse constituencies

  • Knowledge of leadership development/management training needs with an ability to apply adult learning theories to employee programs

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or Masters in HR preferred.
  • SPHR, CA, or other Senior HR Certification preferred
  • ACC required or PCC, MCC credential preferred


The base salary for this role is in the range of ($141,352 - $212,225). You may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and an annual discretionary stock award, (dependent on date of hire) to be discussed during the initial phone interview. Base salary and total compensation package determined by the candidate's experience, knowledge, education, skills, performance, and abilities, as well as internal equity, company performance, and alignment with market data. Most US based full-time and part-time roles come with flexible schedules. Our 401(k)-retirement plan has a company match of 50% up to 6% of eligible compensation.
