Job Summary: The AVP of Procurement Contracts Management is responsible for overseeing the development, negotiation, and management of procurement contracts. This role ensures that contracts are aligned with the company's strategic objectives, comply with legal and regulatory requirements, and deliver optimal value. The AVP will lead a team of contract managers and collaborate with various departments to support procurement activities.

- Contract Development: Lead the creation and negotiation of procurement contracts, ensuring favorable terms and conditions that protect the company's interests.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement contracts, including compliance issues and potential supply chain disruptions.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Manage relationships with key suppliers, fostering collaboration and ensuring adherence to contract terms.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of contract managers, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Compliance: Ensure all procurement contracts comply with legal, regulatory, and ethical standards, and maintain accurate contract documentation.
- Process Improvement: Implement and oversee continuous improvement initiatives to enhance contract management processes and efficiency.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, legal, finance, and operations, to ensure alignment and effective communication.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of contract management activities.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement, contract management, or related fields, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and communication skills; proven ability to manage complex contracts and procurement operations; excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CPCM (Certified Professional Contracts Manager) or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management) are a plus.
