Azure Cloud Infrastructure Architect
Location : Brentwood/Franklin, TN (Hybrid remote flexibility, with preference for office work)
Position Type : Contractor (20 to 35 hours per week)

Overview : We are seeking a talented Cloud Infrastructure Architect to join our team. As an Cloud Infrastructure Architect, you will play a crucial role in deploying and maintaining Azure resources and other cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is a senior level with strong experience in Azure Cloud and a passion for implementing cutting-edge solutions to support enterprise applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Deploy and maintain Azure resources and other cloud technologies.
  • Implement and support Networking, Databases, Software, and Servers in the Cloud.
  • Design architecture for integrating core infrastructure technologies to support enterprise applications.
  • Perform risk assessments of existing and new technology deployments.
  • Recommend, implement, and monitor security auditing and alerting solutions.
  • Monitor cloud and on-premise resources to verify integrity and availability.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues and offer solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration within the production environment.
  • Establish standards, tools, and processes to guarantee adherence and compliance.
  • Develop, document, and understand internal IT processes and procedures.
  • Utilize automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and customers regarding changes and outages.
  • Keep current on new technologies and advancements.


Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Senior Architect level that has strong knowledge of security best practices for Microsoft Azure and other cloud technologies.
  • Experience deploying Azure resources and other cloud technologies.
  • Proficiency with Azure Active Directory, Conditional Access Policies, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Ability to create detailed Visio diagrams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, Group Policies, Certificate Services, IIS, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
