Technical Strategy
- Collaborate on multi-year data architecture strategies and roadmaps.
- Design and maintain business and technical capability models.
- Develop target and reference architectures for enterprise-wide initiatives.
- Evaluate industry trends, recommend emerging technologies, and document architecture consistently.
- Align recommendations with business units and organizational data strategies.
- Provide expert consulting to development and infrastructure teams.
- Present technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Lead data architecture projects with a clear vision for change management.
- Build strong relationships across business and technical groups.
- Inspire engagement with enterprise-wide data strategies.
- Identify and address gaps in data design patterns and development standards.
- Research, develop, and promote modern data design principles.
- Evaluate tools/technologies through proof-of-concept analysis.
- Contribute to an enterprise catalog of data patterns and standards.
- Participate in architecture review boards.

- 10+ years of progressive experience in data engineering or related fields.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience across multiple data domains (e.g., data engineering, BI, AI, data security, etc.).
- 2+ years of experience in cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in enterprise data platforms like Teradata, Oracle, or Snowflake.
- Proven experience with data integration tools (Informatica, Kafka, Talend, SSIS, etc.).
- Hands-on skills in scripting languages (Python, Bash, JavaScript, PowerShell, etc.).
- Knowledge of virtualization and hyper-converged infrastructure (VMWare, Nutanix).
- Strong skills in BI and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience working with third-party data services.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and team collaboration skills.
- 4+ years of experience with analytics and predictive modeling solutions.
- 3+ years working with Agile methodologies.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Architect.
- Certified in Azure or AWS architecture.
- Background in financial services or insurance industry.
- Practical exposure to Artificial Intelligence and data science workflows.
- Strategic thinker with a strong business acumen.
