Overview:
We are looking for an experienced WMS Implementation Specialist to lead the rollout of our B2C Warehouse Management System. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, project leadership, effective training capabilities, and seamless coordination with both clients and operations teams to ensure successful deployments. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the software vendor to ensure system requirements are accurately captured and fully implemented. Candidates must have led the implementation of at least three WMS platforms, such as Silver Bullet Technologies, Oracle, Exceed, Blue Yonder, or other leading WMS.
Key Responsibilities
1. Implementation
Lead end-to-end WMS implementation for new clients, including system configuration, data migration, and third-party integration.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver tailored WMS configurations.
Conduct training sessions and provide comprehensive documentation to facilitate successful user adoption.
Communicate updates with senior leadership.
2. Customization & Configuration
Define & communicate specific client workflows and operational needs.
Configure system rules, workflows, and settings as per operational requirements.
Partner with development and technical teams to manage customization requests and expand system capabilities.
3. Ongoing Support & Maintenance
Serve as the first line of support for client inquiries, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Monitor system health, conduct regular checks, and proactively implement solutions to avoid downtime.
4. Client Relationship Management
Act as the primary point of contact for all WMS-related interactions, fostering strong, trust-based client relationships.
Understand client & operation goals and provide strategic advice on how to maximize value through the WMS platform.
Offer best practices and continuous improvement recommendations based on operational insights.
