Principal Job Duties:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# .NET
- Optimize and manage SQL Server databases to ensure high performance, reliability, and security
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies, industry trends and latest .NET releases
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer or similar role
- Strong proficiency in C# .NET and Microsoft SQL Server
- Experience with RESTful API design and development
- Knowledge of database design, optimization, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and experience with Azure SQL
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services such as App Service Plans, App Services, Frontdoor, API Management, Azure SQL, Application Insights, Azure Data Factory
- Experience with Azure DevOps and building pipelines and releases
- Experience with test driven development and building unit tests
- Experience with implementing single sign on solutions
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift, push and pull at least 25 pounds.
