What You Will Be Doing
We are seeking a Backshop Operations Associate Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. In this role, you will oversee sheet metal, grinding, and machining operations, ensuring efficient and high-quality fabrication and repair capabilities. Reporting to the Operations Support Senior Manager, you will lead a team specializing in CNC machining, manual machining, sheet metal fabrication, and grinding to support key programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a skilled team, providing guidance to team leads and technicians.
- Offer technical expertise in fabrication and repair processes to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure on-time completion of all tasks to meet program and operational needs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
- Foster a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $95,000 - $167,440. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
