We are seeking an Executive Director to join our team!
The Executive Director heads and oversees business development, quality assurance, financial management, occupancy requirements, customer service, and healthcare programs for all assigned programs. The Executive Director develops, plans, and implements objectives, goals, standards, programs, and services within the organization for the residents and employees.
The Executive Director will:
- Plan care, program services, and activities for residents, ensuring their emotional health, physical health, and safety needs are met.
- Develop and maintains the operating budget, and assures the facility meets financial goals within established budgetary guidelines.
- Maintain high occupancy through marketing strategies and the assurance of adequate staffing and the continuity and consistency in the delivery and quality of services.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable government laws and regulations and in accordance with residents' needs and with facility's policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Create and fosters relationships within the community.
- Head and performs human resource functions such as hiring, training, mentoring, motivating, and directly managing employees.
- Identify, develop, and mentor staff on industry and innovation opportunities
- Partner with staff, support the development of differentiating innovative solutions and go-to-market strategies to position Merakey as a thought leader.
- Leverage payer/funder relationships to support business goals and objectives
- Utilize data, research and analytics to inform strategy and initiatives

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred
- 10-plus years of professional experience in an industry organization; demonstrated success in thought leadership, market intelligence, strong knowledge of states, funding mechanisms, payers and provider landscape
- Supervisory experience
- Knowledge and relationships with industry thought leaders and payers
- Tangible experience of having expanded and cultivated thought leaders and using market intelligence to inform strategy, development and marketing approaches
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral; ability to influence and engage a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Flexible and adaptable style; a leader who can positively impact both strategic and tactical innovation, marketing and business development initiatives
- Ability to work both independently without close oversight, but also a team player who will productively engage with others at varying levels of seniority within and outside Merakey
