The BCBA for Student Services Districtwide, will provide development and direct supervision of ABA programming as well as other behavioral programs in thedistrict for a total of 40 hours in middle school and high school as needed. Inaddition, the BCBA will provide direct service and consultation to staff members for students with challenging behaviors. Services may include:functional behavioral assessment, behavior plan development, developmentof individualized skill building curricula, staff and parent training, andconsultation to all stakeholders.

Qualifications:
  • Must hold a Master's degree in Psychology/Education, AppliedBehavior Analysis or related field.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working with childrenwith special needs.
  • Experience in ABA, Verbal Behavior, and VB MAPP assessmentstrongly preferred.
  • Experience in program coordination and evaluation preferred.
  • Experience working with students who have developmental disorders,autism spectrum disorders, and/or emotional/behavioral disordersacross grade levels.
  • Qualified to conduct appropriate screenings and assessments,including FBAs
  • Understanding of Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS)and data collection.
  • Written language, technology skill and interpersonal communicationskills to support communication/collaboration among team members,with professional and community contacts, school staff and parents.
  • Familiarity with curriculum development and content area knowledgebase and facility with modifying curriculum.
  • Strong organization, communication and leadership abilities and legalknowledge.

  • Must be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
