Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) for students with autism.
- Provide direct support and behavioral interventions to students to improve communication, social skills, and adaptive behavior.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and maintain strategies that foster students' academic, social, and emotional success.
- Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and provide data-driven recommendations based on findings.
- Train and mentor staff on effective behavior management techniques and strategies.
- Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as necessary to ensure positive outcomes.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to track student progress and make necessary adjustments to interventions.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of student evaluations, interventions, and progress.
- Serve as a resource for staff and parents, providing guidance and support on behavior-related concerns.
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams to provide input on behavior management and support strategies.
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) Certification required.
- Master's degree in Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.
- Previous experience working with students with autism, preferably in a school setting.
- Strong knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and practices.
- Experience in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and conducting functional behavior assessments (FBAs).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other school professionals.
- Strong commitment to supporting students in their academic, social, and emotional growth.
- Competitive weekly pay: $40 - $52 per hour.
