Clinical Coordinator Overview
The Clinical Coordinator is responsible for implementing Melmark New England's Behavior Intervention Strategies and providing direct clinical oversight for a residential caseload of up to 16 students across two residences. This role ensures high standards of clinical excellence through functional assessments, behavior support planning, crisis management, and staff training. The Clinical Coordinator will actively oversee program implementation in both school and residential settings, requiring weekly presence across sites. This position demands strong leadership, clinical expertise, and a proactive approach to reducing restrictive programming while fostering student independence.

Schedule and Salary Information
Full-time, flexible hours with some evening, weekend, and holiday responsibilities as needed

Requirements
Minimum of a Master's Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) or Special Education (Doctoral degree preferred)
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in clinical service delivery and supervision within public or private school settings
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in program management, staff supervision, and training
Expertise in applied behavior analysis, functional analysis, and evidence-based intervention strategies for individuals with significant challenging behaviors

Clinical Coordinator Responsibilities
Conduct functional behavior assessments, develop and oversee behavior support plans, and ensure IEP behavioral objectives are met
Provide weekly direct observations in classroom and residential settings, adjusting intervention strategies as needed
Implement Melmark's Behavior Intervention Strategies across clinical settings with a focus on procedural integrity
Train and mentor management staff and direct care personnel using a structured feedback system
Assist in crisis management across school and residential settings, ensuring effective intervention strategies
Oversee the Student Weekly Review process and ensure timely implementation of recommendations
Serve as a clinical supervisor and mentor for students in the BCBA program
Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, admissions committees, and senior clinical meetings to support student progress
Assist with parent training and engagement both onsite and in-home settings as needed
