Description:
The Pittsburgh Paints Co. (PPC) Benefits Leader incumbent will report to the Total Rewards & HR Operations Director and be accountable for developing, managing, and optimizing employee benefits strategies in alignment with the company's business goals and market trends. This role involves strategic partnerships, project management, compliance, and budget oversight to ensure competitive and effective benefits programs.
This is a hybrid position based out of Cranberry Township, PA.

This is a hybrid position based out of Cranberry Township, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update benefits strategies that align with the company's business objectives and employee needs.
- Build partnerships with key stakeholders to identify market trends and best practices for talent attraction and retention.
- Monitor shifts in employee preferences and market conditions to adjust benefits solutions accordingly.
- Develop and communicate competitive benefits programs, including health, wellness, and recognition initiatives.
- Prepare budget recommendations and oversee the monitoring and reconciliation of budgeted funds for benefits programs.
- Align with broker on vendor plans annually; Work with broker on negotiations focused on optimal plans and rates, serving as the primary PPC contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators.
- Ensure compliance with government regulations and oversee timely and accurate reporting and fee payments.
- Gather employee data and manage monthly billing processes, including preparation of vouchers for administrative fees.
- Review cost estimates and statistical analyses to evaluate modifications and implementations of benefits programs.
- Direct daily operations of various group benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans.
- Investigate and implement new benefits programs while enhancing existing offerings to meet employee needs.
- Work effectively within a team environment, demonstrating strong leadership and project management skills.
- Manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Possess strong analytical abilities and a thorough understanding of benefits plan designs and contract language.
- Exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills essential for effective benefits administration and stakeholder interaction.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree or certification in benefits management is a plus.
- 5+ years in benefits management or a related field.
- Strong understanding of employee benefits programs and regulations.
- Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Strong leadership and project management capabilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
