Description:
The Beverage and Wine Director of Beverage will lead the oversight of beverage operation for all venues. The Director will be responsible for managing the beverage and wine selection, inventory, staff, and overall operations of our bar and beverage service areas.
What you'll do:
Develop and manage beverage / wine menus to maximize profits and guests' satisfaction.
Oversee the ordering, receiving, and inventory management of all beverages/wines.
Ensure all beverage operations comply with relevant health, safety, and licensing standards.
Coordinate with the Executive chef for each venue to pair beverages with menu items.
Manage relationships with suppliers and negotiate contracts.
Analyze sales and profitability to guide beverage strategy and pricing.
Stay current on beverage / wine industry trends and introduce innovative offerings.
Manage customer complaints and inquiries related to beverages
Attending meetings at each venue to go over customers' feedback and revenue.
Formulate annual, quarterly, and monthly department goals and development work plans
Create metrics that showcase turnover, costs, and profit
Control the standard specifications and requirements of beverage
Manage accounting and proficiently analyze P&L to reduce costs and increase profitability
Responsible for the staff training and company guidelines, regularly evaluating and measuring progress.
Strategically leads high-profile projects, overseeing large, often cross-functional organization-wide projects or initiatives.
Monitors all expenses and adjusts operational budgets to promote profitability.
Conduct weekly meetings with managers in charge of beverages / wines at each venue.
Ensures organization compliance with all established legalities and regulations.
Oversee and manage external factors and vendor relationships and agreements.
Creates dashboards for reviewing key performance indicators.
Prepares monthly metrics reporting for the VP Of Operations
Orchestrates the flawless execution of new restaurant launches by collaborating with all departments
Support additional business entities when needed

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience required
8-10 years of management experience within the food and beverage or hospitality industry
This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work
Health & Safety and Food & Safety trained
Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish)
