We have a contract to hire opportunity for a BI Developer that has 4+ years of experience in Snowflake, Talend and IDMC data engineering. 100% Remote
The main focus should be to find someone who has expertise with Snowflake, Talend, IDMC (Intelligent Data Management Cloud" data engineering.

Position Purpose:
Creates complex Enterprise-class data assets that provide business insight and aid business decision-making. Assets will include (but are not limited to) reports, visualizations, dashboards, and data extracts. Produces complex reports and performs meaningful quantitative or qualitative analyses addressing impactful business issues or questions. Combines these reports with subject-matter expertise to deliver coherent, insightful takeaways comprehensive read-outs, and advice/recommendations grounded in what our data is telling us.
Education/Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science).
Requires 4 - 6 years of related experience.
Or equivalent experience acquired through accomplishments of applicable knowledge, duties, scope and skill reflective of the level of this position.
Technical Skills:
One or more of the following skills are desired.
Experience with one or more of the following Business Intelligence; Data Analysis; Microsoft Azure; SAS (Software); SQL (Programming Language); Statistical Analysis Systems (SAS); Tableau (Business Intelligence Software)
Experience with Data Modeling; Python (Programming Language); Quality Assurance; SQL (Programming Language)
Experience with one or more of the following Analytical Techniques; Business Analysis; Quantitative Analysis; Risk Analysis; Root Cause Analysis; Statistical Process Controls

- 4-6 years experience with Talend, Snowflake.
- IDMC data engineering.
- Please be sure to emphasize this experience on the resume. Looking for hands-on experience, not just knowledge of.
- Experience in Power BI, Power Apps is plus.
- Fabric, Power Apps and other cloud data integration toolset.
- Candidates need to have in depth knowledge and experience with the technologies listed, not just "knowledge of"

About this role:
- Team consists of 80% to 20% FTE vs Contractors
- Schedule is EST
- Team is talented with BI and Data Engineers
- Key projects include supporting transformation, enhancements, new business initiatives.
- Purpose of this role is to build data pipelines and modeling within Snowflake using Talend and other data integration tools
- Role to play key part of strategic transformation of IT operations data into public data assets
- Opportunity to work on new data trends using technologies such as Snowflake, on-prem and cloud data integration toolset.
- In addition role would have an exposure for an end to end BI stack.
- Daily or weekly stand-up interaction with the teams based on the project deliverables. Typical tasks will shift based on deliverables.
- This role will be responsible for building data pipelines and modeling within Snowflake using Talend and other data integration tools.
- Daily schedule will follow regular business hours, no overtime needed.
- Resource will interact with Hiring Manager and other devs/tech leads.
