OVERVIEW

Responsible for leading the Big Data Engineering team and overseeing the planning, development, and operations of the Big Data Platform. This role requires not only overall team management but also hands-on technical involvement to tackle complex technical challenges and ensure the platform's stable and efficient performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Guidance and Team Management
  • Lead the team in executing data cleansing, data warehouse modeling, and report development on the Big Data Platform to provide crucial data support.
  • Address daily technical challenges, optimize system performance, conduct fault diagnosis, and resolve issues to ensure stable and efficient platform operations.
  • Organize regular technical sharing sessions and training programs to enhance the team's overall technical proficiency and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest big data industry technologies and apply them to the big data platform to enhance data processing efficiency, providing more efficient and intelligent data support and analytical services to external departments.


Platform Operations and System Maintenance
  • Oversee the deployment of the Big Data Platform, including task scheduling, proactive monitoring, and alert configuration to ensure system security, stability, and high availability.
  • Participate in platform architecture design and optimization, resolving technical challenges in data collection, integration, and ETL development to ensure efficient and accurate data processing workflows.
  • Promote the implementation of data de-identification and data security management strategies to maintain data compliance and privacy protection.


Cross-Departmental Collaboration and Support
  • Collaborate closely with business departments to understand and analyze requirements, providing customized data solutions and actionable insights.
  • Manage data querying, statistical analysis, and report development, delivering accurate and timely data reports and technical recommendations to decision-makers.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to drive the application of big data technologies across various business scenarios within the company.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience building and maintaining Big Data Platforms.
  • At least 2 years of team management experience.


Technical Skills
  • In-depth understanding of big data technologies such as Hadoop, Flink, Spark, Hive, HBase, and Airflow, with proven expertise in big data development and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with big data OLAP tools like Kylin, Impala, and ClickHouse, as well as experience in data warehouse design, data modeling, and report development.
  • Proficiency in Linux development environments and Python programming, with strong coding and problem analysis skills.
  • Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI) for deploying and operating big data systems.


Soft Skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, capable of bridging technical and management roles in cross-functional projects.
  • Proactive and highly responsible, with a strong team spirit and robust technical leadership capabilities.


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Hands-on experience in building teams from scratch are highly preferred.
