Description:
The role of the District Sales Manager (DSM) is to actively participate as a member of the division's management team, to ensure good customer relations, while helping lead commercial efforts. This includes active participation to ensure the delivery of high-quality material, produced safely and profitably and profitable in the market through commercial efforts. The DSM will work with the division to provide long-term strategic planning and focus on achieving short and long-term results. The DSM will have to personally demonstrate that they act according to the values that make up Nucor's Culture.

- Work with the division to create and execute a business strategy for our product group and for the company
- Help create and drive a clear and strategic vision for the sales team to achieve all the objectives
- Provide state-of-the-art service by developing relationships in all areas of our business and finding new strategic sales opportunities
- Submit accurate forecasts and solve problems
- Work collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire commercial and operation teams
- Assist its sales team and customer service through the coordination of the engineering, manufacturing and delivery of our products
Minimum Qualifications and Requirements
- Demonstrated experience and leadership qualities
- Experience in sales in the steel industry and / or in the manufacturing market
- Be willing and able to travel
- Ability to be flexible with work schedule
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Experience in the steel construction and manufacturing industry
- Must be bi-lingual(French & English)
