Billing Software Solutions Consultant

• This is 5 days a week in the office in either Charlotte, North Carolina or St Louis, MO. You must be located in Charlotte or St Louis for this position.

The Billing Software Solution Consultant is responsible for actively participating in the grooming of new mobile biller solutions, reviewing/refining requirements, reviewing/refining designs, and reviewing reported testing issues for designation as defects or design gaps. This position will leverage expertise in billing functions (ordering, billing, invoicing, taxation, etc.) to guide rapid design of solutions that are readily supportable by the operations teams. The ideal candidate will have Enterprise Catalog configuration experience in a telecommunications setting.
You will be working on the catalog team, focused on offer creation (service is $x, discount is $y, phone launches, etc...) Working in MEC, Master Enterprise Catalog, which is an Amdocs product.

• Deep knowledge of billing systems and Enterprise Catalog used by communications service providers
• Knowledge of mobile products and services
• Familiarity with internally developed ordering platforms integrated with a vendor billing system
• Strong skills creating SQL queries
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
• Proficient use of personal computer and software application skills (i.e. Word, Excel, SQL Developer, Visio, JIRA)
• Ability to demonstrate lateral thinking required to solve complex technical problems and to collaborate well with others to solve problems and actively incorporate input from various sources
• Preferred to have knowledge and experience with Amdocs billing software. MEC, or similar billing and Enterprise Catalog system
• This is 5 days a week in office in Charlotte, NC or St Louis, MO. MUST be located in either Charlotte, NC or St Louis, MO.
