Role Summary:
The principal will play a critical role in expanding Blackstone's footprint within a designated geographic territory. This individual will focus on building and maintaining relationships with financial intermediaries, primarily financial advisors, to drive sales and deliver sophisticated alternative investment solutions. The role requires a balance of sales acumen, product expertise, and the ability to educate and support financial advisors.

In addition to product development, the team oversees the day-to-day operations of investment vehicles, $250 billion in AUM raised through the Private Wealth Channel.
Position Overview:
Blackstone Private Wealth focuses on two primary objectives:
Client Diversification: Expanding Blackstone's client base by engaging with new channels and raising capital from these sources.
Product Development: Creating innovative investment solutions tailored to these channels by leveraging Blackstone's expertise across Private Equity, Real Estate, Hedge Fund Solutions, Credit, and Tactical Opportunities.
Sales and Relationship Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with financial intermediaries, with a focus on independent financial planning firms.
Act as a trusted advisor by providing ongoing sales support, education, and product insights to financial advisors.
Identify and cultivate new relationships to broaden distribution, increase sales, and enhance profitability.
Product Education and Thought Leadership:
Deliver compelling sales presentations on Blackstone's suite of alternative investment products to financial advisors and their clients.
Provide ongoing education and training to advisors, ensuring they are well-versed in Blackstone's offerings and the value of private market investments.
Territory Management:
Travel extensively within the assigned territory to meet with financial advisors, conduct presentations, and attend client meetings.
Represent Blackstone at industry trade shows, conferences, and other networking events.
Collaboration and Internal Coordination:
Partner with internal marketing associates to ensure comprehensive territory coverage, timely follow-up, and effective client support.
Work closely with the broader Blackstone Private Wealth team to align on sales strategies and client engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required; MBA or CFA designation is a plus.
10+ years of proven experience in selling or marketing alternative and traditional investment products.
Strong understanding of private markets and alternative investment strategies.
Exceptional presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to communicate complex investment concepts in a clear and compelling manner.
Highly self-motivated and independent workers, with the ability to manage a dynamic and demanding sales territory.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.
