Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Blazor Developer to join our team and play a key role in the migration of the Selectworks program to a web application. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C#, Blazor, and ASP.NET Core Web APIs, along with the ability to read and convert legacy Visual Basic code. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a high-impact project in its early stages while collaborating with engineering teams to develop a robust and user-friendly web application. This role does require someone to be in-office 5 days a week.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain the frontend of the Selectworks application using Blazor.
  • Build and optimize backend services and APIs using ASP.NET Core.
  • Work with JSON data structures for application development and integration.
  • Convert legacy Visual Basic code into C#.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers to ensure the application aligns with engineering calculations for product performance and sizing.
  • Provide feedback on UI/UX design and contribute to the development of a dedicated product selection portal.
  • Manage and interact with Microsoft Access databases while adhering to complex data management rules.
  • Work onsite daily and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering and IT.

Required Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in C# and ASP.NET Core Web API development.
  • Experience with Blazor for frontend development.
  • Ability to read and convert Visual Basic code to C#.
  • Strong understanding of JSON and its applications in web development.
  • Familiarity with Excel for data manipulation and integration.
  • Basic understanding of UX design principles.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience working on engineering-related applications.
  • Knowledge of engineering principles and calculations.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Access databases.
