BCBA Job Responsibilities:

- Provide ongoing support for students
- Participate in conducting functional behavior assessments
- Lead teams in writing and maintaining positive behavior support plans
- Oversee assessments, plan development, and ongoing program data analysis to ensure maximum student progress
- Attend weekly staff meetings
- Develop and conduct staff trainings
- Collaborate with other BCBAs and all school and instructional leadership teams
- Remain current on new research and developments in behavior analysis
Physical Demands May Include:
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling
- Assist with lifting, holding or positioning students with disabilities (including physical, behavioral, learning, etc.)
- Sitting or stooping on the floor for extended periods of time
- Standing or bending over repeatedly throughout the day
- Must work well in noisy and crowded environments
- Independent mobility to move about the classroom and campus throughout the day.
- Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Qualifications, Requirements and Skills:
- Ability to demonstrate competence in behavior management skill, instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations
- Ability to work with a variety of clients in regard to age, functionality, and with minimal direction
- Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, text messages, and emails
- Flexible availability which includes Monday through Friday
- Driver's insurance on file with HR Department
- Transportation that is reliable and insured in the state Illinois
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification
- Experience developing, writing, implementing, and evaluating individual and/or unit wide behavioral programs
- Experience training staff in behavioral principles and procedures
- Effective and professional communication
- Maintain professionalism and confidentiality at all times
- Critical thinking skills and problem solving
- Strong computer skills
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
