TEDCO is seeking a Board Governance Administrative Coordinator tocoordinate interaction between TEDCO's Board of Directors and the Executive Leadership Team regarding meetings, agendas, minutes, written and oral presentations, and travel, as well as providing some administrative support functions.

The selected candidate will exhibit a strong attention to detail, professionalism, and the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion. This role also requires a results-driven, problem-solver who demonstrates initiative.

Essential Job Functions
  • Communicate directly and on behalf of the CEO with Board members.
  • Schedule and arrange Board and Board committee meetings to include identifying the space, facility, meeting supplies, meals, refreshments, and technology.
  • Compile and distribute materials to the Board prior to meetings.
  • Attends Board and Committee Meetings, report activities, request input and discusses Board of Directors recommendations.
  • Develop and put into practices, policies consistent with the Board and TEDCO's vision and mission.
  • Prepare the meeting minutes, and maintain all corporate documents related to the Board.
  • Maintain the annual budget for the Board of Directors
  • Coordinate new member orientation.
  • Schedule annual Board of Directors Assessments
  • Maintain Board of Directors Roster to include tenure and contact information.
  • Meet and greet visitors.
  • Assist with office administrative tasks to include:
    • Assist in the planning of holiday parties and events.
    • Handling inventory and ordering of office supplies.
    • Mail Distribution
    • Front desk reception, as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of five years of experience providing a high-level of support to Boards or performing similar work.
  • Prior experience planning and/or coordinating events and travel.
  • Project Management experience is highly desirable.
  • Excellent writing, copy editing, and formatting skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Google Meets and other virtual meeting platforms.

The base salary for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 with a 5% bonus opportunity.
