Orr Body Shop is seeking a motivated, hands-on, skilled Body Shop Manager to oversee our workshop and manage day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repairs, preparing estimates, and customer service.
**Responsibilities**
- Supervise shop staff and assign tasks accordingly
-Manage day-to-day operations of the Body Shop, including scheduling, inventory management, and customer service.
- Oversee inventory management and order supplies as needed
- Conduct quality control checks on finished products
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Train new employees on shop procedures and safety guidelines
-Coordinate with vendors and internal parts department for parts ordering and inventory replenishment.
**Experience**
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Proficiency in vehicle maintenance and repair
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required
- Experience in assembling, welding, and fabricating metal components
- Mechanical knowledge and aptitude for using power tools
- Familiarity with auto body repair techniques
- Skill in airless paint spraying techniques
