Primary Duties:
The Branch Manager is responsible for directing the daily branch activities of the branch, involving different staff that will, at times, work independently as well as part of a greater unit. Responsibilities include leading sales and service excellence, providing operational and systems support, handling a variety of complex customer and operational transactions, developing work schedules, and motivating, mentoring, and coaching/developing employees, as well as continuous review of processes to ensure team productivity and an exceptional member experience. This leadership role will develop branch employees leading a sales and service culture consistent with the credit union's goals of delivering exceptional quality and expanding member relationships.

Qualifications
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum of three years progressive management/leadership experience.
- Minimum of three years financial institution experience required.
- Excellent team building, goal setting and problem-solving skills.
- Leads by example and exhibits leadership abilities that create a high-performing, creative, and collaborative work environment that supports business objectives while reflecting and advancing the credit union's culture, vision, and values.
- Ability to relate management goals and objectives to budgets and action plans.
- Thorough knowledge of operations to coordinate daily functions and to resolve employee and member issues.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally in group and individual settings.
- Strong written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative relationships throughout all levels of the organization.
- Maintains high standards in areas of security, accuracy, thoroughness, completeness and neatness of documentation, system input, correspondence, system upgrades and system testing. Able to maintain high levels of confidentiality.
- Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills.
- Proficient in using personal computers, particularly Microsoft Office products such as Word and Excel. Must be technologically savvy, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and software applications.
- Flexibility to deal with unexpected events, and occasionally attend meetings and events that may occur outside of regularly scheduled work hours.
- Occasional travel is required for business purposes, primarily local travel between Credit Union locations.
