The Branch Operations Manager is the leader of Getman Elko Service Center organization consisting of Aftermarket Sales, Customer Service and Parts Warehouse managers and their teams. This position has responsibility over capital equipment sales, aftermarket, service and training sales and development of new business opportunities for Getman region based out of Elko, NV.
This role represents Getman products and services in the region and ensures high customer satisfaction while being responsible for revenue growth and market share in region, reporting to Getman HQ in Bangor, MI.

JOB SUMMARY

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that all work carried out by Getman employees follows local safety regulations and requirements in the region and at customer sites, with best practices for pre- operation inspections, personal risk assessments and necessary job safety assessments to ensure employee and customer safety in all service work.
- Leads Elko Service Center operations and employees, reporting to Getman HQ in Bangor, MI.
- Develops and executes Elko Service Center business growth plans and long- term strategies, to increase revenue in capital equipment, parts, rebuilds and service/training sales.
- Develops and presents capital equipment quotations to Elko region customers, supported by Getman Product Management tools and processes.
- Evaluates financial information and KPI's for Elko Service Center. Identifies and implements improvement opportunities to meet and exceed KPI targets.
- Develops and maintains positive customer relationships with Elko, NV region underground mining customers and partners/suppliers in the area.
- Coordinates the efforts and participates in monthly customer meetings in order to share information, provide timely issue resolution and customer support and to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Ensures that Elko Service Center operations and employees align with Getman Corporation objectives, operational processes and safety standards.
- Maintains positive working relationship with all Getman Corporation employees to ensure a cooperative and productive work environment.
- Facilitates Getman corporate employee site visits to Elko area customer locations.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in technical or in business field.
- 8+ years related experience.
- Mining industry work experience in Elko, NV region, preferably related to underground mining.
- Capital equipment sales, Aftermarket/Service sales, machine rebuild sales experience.
- Operations experience in mining, manufacturing or customer service.
- People Leadership skills.
SKILLS, TALENTS AND/OR CHARACTERISTICS
- Ability and willingness to maintain MSHA Underground certification and visit underground mine locations as necessary.
- Ability to adhere to and represent Getman Purpose and Mission in the region.
- Strong team working skills and ability to work across multiple levels in organization.
- Results oriented, bias for action while having ability to think long term and act strategic.
- Effective communication with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to understand and interpret financial statements and act as necessary.
- Fluent in various MS- Windows based systems and tools, experience in ERP/MRP systems such as Epicor.
