Under direction of the Rate Regulation Branch (RRB) Division Chief, the Supervising Insurance Rate Analyst plans, assigns, and directs staff in the Program Office, which includes the Training, Special Projects, and Intake and Support Units. Major responsibilities include supervising and leading staff in the design and creation of training for RRB staff, documentation of policies and procedures, evaluating rate applications for completeness, production of special projects, and development of internal audit procedures. The Supervising Insurance Rate Analyst acts as a technical consultant to the Insurance Commissioner, and meets and corresponds with insurers and their representatives.

Working Conditions
- The incumbent must be able to work in a high-rise building.
- There will be occasional travel, including possible overnight stays.
- The incumbent may telework in accordance with CDI's Telework Policy. Teleworking employees may be required to report to their headquarters office location on designated telework days. Travel expenses are not reimbursed, however other authorized transit subsidies do exist for those who qualify.
