Business Analyst - Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for eliciting, analyzing, and documenting clear, testable business requirements while serving as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams to evaluate existing and future-state business processes and systems, ensuring alignment with project goals and stakeholder needs. You will contribute to Agile project execution, assist with backlog grooming, and provide guidance to ensure project deliverables meet business expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements that are clear, concise, and testable.
• Facilitate requirement-gathering meetings with stakeholders and project teams to define business impacts.
• Maintain project backlogs and support Agile ceremonies in collaboration with product owners.
• Ensure alignment with project scope, business objectives, and system engineering methodology (SEM).
• Create as-is and to-be business process models and content supporting product roadmaps.
• Assist in data governance, build vs. buy analysis, and resolution of business-critical IT issues.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, architects, developers, and testers to communicate requirements.
• Prepare documentation that complies with client policies, standards, and templates.
• Contribute to Agile project management and ensure epics, features, and user stories are well-defined.
• Support quality assurance by validating requirements and assisting in test planning and execution.

Required Skills, Experiences, Education, and Competencies:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT project environments.
• At least 5 years of experience in quality assurance and verification processes.
• Proficient with Azure DevOps, including creation of epics, features, and user stories.
• Strong understanding of roles and responsibilities across BA, QA, and Development teams.
• Skilled in documenting and analyzing as-is/to-be processes and delivering process content.
• Minimum 3 years of experience developing product roadmaps and strategic planning.
• Familiarity with Agile and project management methodologies.
• Proficient in BA tools such as FIGMA and Visio for process mapping and UI mockups.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential to success in this role.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $45.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills, experience, location, and industry.
