Risk Subject Matter Expert (SME)
Strong knowledge of Consumer Banking products and their associated risk frameworks.
Experience working with Risk-Weighted Assets (RWA) calculations, stress testing, Basel norms, and regulatory reporting.
Familiarity with data management principles, risk analytics, and reporting frameworks.
Prior experience working as a liaison between business and technology teams, translating risk-related requirements into actionable solutions.
Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and risk-related data structures is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Roles & Responsibilities
Liaison Role: Bridge the gap between Client risk business teams and the technology implementation team, ensuring alignment on requirements and deliverables.
Risk Expertise: Provide subject matter expertise in Market Risk, Credit Risk, Risk-Weighted Assets, and Consumer Banking Products, ensuring regulatory and operational needs are met.
Requirement Gathering: Work closely with stakeholders to define, document, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications for the central data repository.
Data Strategy & Governance: Ensure that risk data is structured, stored, and processed efficiently to support analytics, reporting, and compliance.
Process Optimization: Identify gaps in current risk data management processes and recommend solutions for improved efficiency and accuracy.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure risk data management aligns with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.
Testing & Validation: Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of system changes to ensure accuracy and compliance with business needs.
Salary Range- $125,000-$150,000 a year
