Position Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, Operations Systems Services, the Business Analyst will optimize business processes to ensure effective delivery of services to airport tenants and stakeholders. The Business Analyst will deliver efficient tools and workflows for use by operational teams and focus on continuous improvement of core services. The position serves as a key conduit for communication between business teams and IT teams.

This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule after serving two months of the probationary period. MAC's hybrid work schedule includes two days remote and three days onsite. Position Description
- Participate in designing and executing business process improvements by mapping existing business workflows, coordinating with business units to identify opportunities for process improvements, and tailoring platform configurations to reflect optimized workflows, data sharing opportunities, and communications channels.
- Document business requirements by interviewing clients, analyzing work processes establishing solution objectives and evaluating information systems functionality to identify gaps, and measures the solution impact to business operations.
- Gather and analyze data to fully understand process issues and recommend potential process improvement
- Test business processes and recommend improvements
- Communicate and validate requirements with relevant stakeholders
- Collaborate with department representatives and IT personnel on planning and prioritization of projects
- Identify automation opportunities
- Develop business cases for technology in close coordination with operation team leaders.
- Participate in the preparations of project estimates by completing project plans, cost benefit analysis, and timelines.
- Apply project management methods, tools, and processes as standard practice.
- Collaborates with the IT Department to develop and maintain product roadmaps and lifecycle schedules for division software inventory.
- Represent the division, where assigned, for business interests on enterprise-wide technology initiatives and enterprise-wide teams addressing technology and facility related business process improvements.
- Identify and develop measurement tools and key performance indicators, supply key data for supporting Business Intelligence (BI) reporting to depict operational status against these key performance indicators.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree in project management, Business Analysis, Computer Science, Airport Management, Business Administration or at least seven years of experience in business analysis
- Three years of experience in business analysis to include gathering requirements, writing system specifications, assisting with project plans, and executing and monitoring tasks and reports
- Experience with documenting and optimizing business process workflows.
