The Worker will perform advanced (senior-level) business analysis work related to implementing complex, emerging technology hardware and software projects for the Mainframe Transformation Program. Duties involve gathering, developing, and documenting requirements; reviewing, assessing, and developing business processes; creating and validating user acceptance testing; and providing research and special project support to users. This role requires independent judgment and initiative while working under limited supervision.
This position is responsible for analysis and documentation in the implementation of multiple interrelated projects, including software applications in Software as a Service (SaaS) or Commercial off-the-Shelf (COTS), data migration from the mainframe to new systems, and building a Data Warehouse. The role ensures that deliverables and materials align with established processes and methodologies, maintaining high-quality standards. The worker may also assign and supervise the work of others.

Years Required Experience 8+ Business analysis experience on software development projects, including preparation of project-related documentation. 8+ Strong interpersonal, collaborative, analytical, and communication skills (both written and verbal), with expertise in technical writing and proficiency in MS Office Suite and prototyping tools (Visio, SnagIt, Adobe Illustrator, Axure). 8+ Hands-on experience with requirements elicitation, client management, technical documentation, traceability, use cases, prototyping, and data modeling. 8+ Experience facilitating interactive sessions with business and cross-functional teams. 8+ Expertise in assessing production support issues, determining root causes, and documenting required data or system corrections. 8+ Experience developing and maintaining an understanding of key business drivers and assisting clients with identifying and solving business challenges. 8+ Facilitating business and functional requirements analysis, designing technology specifications, and collaborating with business and functional personnel. 8+ Defining functional design and system specifications, preparing, reviewing, and delivering completed packages. 8+ Leading and guiding business and functional units in developing and completing user acceptance testing, training, and implementation-related activities.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with mainframe environments, SQL, Salesforce, Remedyforce, Core Java/J2EE development, and relational databases.
- Experience with process improvement strategies and methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead change and design more efficient processes.
- Experience in the Oil and Gas industry, as well as compliance and enforcement-related projects as a Business Analyst.
- Ability to work effectively within multifaceted teams, resolve conflicts, and manage challenging situations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
