Job Title: Senior Business Analyst (Business Analyst III)
Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst (Business Analyst III) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Reporting to the Director of Administration, this position is responsible for defining business solution strategies, translating objectives into detailed requirements, and ensuring successful project execution across all phases of the software development life cycle.

Job Summary:
The Senior Business Analyst (Business Analyst III) plays a critical role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions. Reporting to the Director of Administration, this position is responsible for defining business solution strategies, translating objectives into detailed requirements, and ensuring successful project execution across all phases of the software development life cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate business goals into functional and technical requirements, use cases, and system documentation.
- Produce comprehensive documentation including functional specs, data mappings, software specifications, and system scope.
- Conduct business process analysis, data analysis, and requirements gathering to support application design and development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, technical teams, and leadership to align expectations and deliver value-driven solutions.
- Lead and mentor teams of analysts through planning, documentation, testing, and user training.
- Design and facilitate effective meetings to align business users, gather insights, and document outcomes.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test plans and test cases using tools such as JIRA or Client ALM.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure clear understanding and implementation of requirements.
- Identify key metrics and KPIs and work with technical staff to develop dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau and Cognos.
- Provide clear and effective communication and presentations to senior stakeholders and business users.
- Mentor junior team members and promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Participate in agency operations continuity planning and disaster recovery initiatives, as needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
