Overview:

This position will be responsible for providing support to the Business Banking Team. Focused on providing analysis and support to their incentive programs. Serve in a consultant capacity with other departments regarding incentive programs. Present content at various divisional sales meetings and events.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Support the Business Banking Incentive Program Administrators regarding all tasks related to program administration.
  • Provide additional insights to incentive programs to Incentive Program Administrators for potential gaps in plan.
  • Responsible for supporting the day-to-day operation of the division's incentive programs to include coordinating the compilation and distribution of sales reporting to management, interacting with management and sales personnel to resolve problems, answer questions, provide quality control of processes, develop job aids for day-to-day functions, assist with the goal setting process, ensuring progressive goals are established, ensuring employee awards are processed correctly and on a timely basis.
  • Serve in a consultant capacity to other divisions regarding incentive programs.
  • Coordinate across departments on necessary data needs.
  • Drive continuous improvement of existing processes and/or the development of new processes.
  • Assist in creation of analyses and presentations for business lines.
  • Provide input and recommendations to senior management.
  • Perform non-routine analysis and judgment-based work, delivering information in a format that is easy to use utilizing workbooks and slide deck presentation methods.
  • Adhere to applicable compliance/operational risk controls in accordance with Company or regulatory standards and policies.
  • Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the M&T Bank brand.
  • Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Required:
  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years relevant experience,

OR in lieu of a degree,
  • A combined minimum of 7 years higher education and/or work experience including 3 years relevant experience
  • 1 Year of work leadership Experience preferred but not required


M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees. The pay range for this position is $71,985.72 - $119,976.20 Annual (USD). The successful candidate's particular combination of knowledge, skills, and experience will inform their specific compensation.
