POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Business Central Specialist will collaborate with technical business partners and cross-department team members to support and increased Business

Central and LS Retail adoption throughout the company.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manage enterprise applications, including but not limited to Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, LS Retail, Zetadocs Document Management, Jet Reports, and Power BI.
  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the Service Desk escalated requests pertaining to Business Central and LS Retail.
  • Collaborate with Finance Team (Primary) and other departments to identify, document, and communicate business needs and provide technical solutions.
  • Train end users on the use of Business Central and LS Retail, including the onboarding of new employees, this should include training plans, training materials, user guides & training delivery.
  • Perform project life cycle documentation for best practices.
  • Ensure change management controls are followed throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Perform Gap analysis between current processes and best practices.
  • Analyze, track & remediate root causes of defects
  • Work with QA lead to develop testing documentation: Test plans, Test scripts, test exceptions, follow up and resolution, identify waste and rework and enacts plans to improve/solve.
  • Looks for innovative ways to streamline work processes across business units
  • Participate in maintenance of the Microsoft Dynamics Business Central/LS Retail infrastructure and provide guidance to department team members as needed.
  • Collaborate with the IT department management team in the administration and support of enterprise applications and systems.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES:
  • Strong understanding of Dynamics Business Central/NAV core services including AR, AP, Accounting, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management and Manufacturing.
  • Significant experience working in Finance & Accounting field(s)
  • Experience with products such as LS Retail, Zetadocs, and Jet Reports a plus.
  • Experience with Point-of-Sale desired.
  • Knowledge of best practices, principles and procedures as related to ERP processes.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels in an organization regarding business and system processes.
  • Proven ability to write effective system and process documentation, including requirements, diagrams, and data processing flows.
  • Ability to articulate business requirements, capabilities & competencies, product/solution features, and technology aspects
  • Ability to establish priorities, complete objectives, and work independently without detailed supervision while balancing multiple demands
  • Experience in applying cross-functional training and the willingness to assist others as needed so the company achieves or exceeds its overall business objectives
  • Experience of using Azure DevOps to manage the implementation of new product offerings
  • Understanding of other Microsoft products, Excel, Power BI & SQL
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal) is required.


EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:
  • 4-year degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Business, Accounting, or equivalent.
  • 8+ years functional administration experience in Microsoft NAV/Business Central required.


Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the USA.
