Salary Grade: G06
Minimum Midpoint Maximum
$78,537 - $106,024 - $133,511

SUMMARY:

Develops, administers, and continuously improves company Business Continuity, Emergency Management/Operations, and Disaster Recovery Plans and Programs. Supports the development and administration of tools to support the continuity of business operations, response, and resilience to emergencies. Represents company interests at incident command and/or emergency operation/response centers. Maintains strong working relationships with internal / external stakeholders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees the Business Continuity, Emergency Management/Operations, and Disaster Recovery Programs

Executes planning based on Crisis Management & Resilience strategic direction

Coordinates cross-functional teams and matrixed resources responsible for detection, response and recovery from catastrophic events

Mobilize Emergency Response Team, facilitate crisis communications, situation reports and executive briefings

Reviews, validates and updates business unit plans and/or Disaster Recovery playbooks with stakeholders to ensure compliance. Maintain common repositories for all-hazards playbooks, plans, and templates

Oversees Business Continuity, Emergency Management, and Disaster Recovery rehearsals, tests, drills, exercises and preparedness and awareness training

Supports the development and administration of tools, templates, training, and facilities to support the continuity of business operations

Design and analyze metrics and reports to monitor implementation of business continuity, disaster recovery, and emergency planning programs; prepare reports for senior management

Support activation and operation of the ERC; serve in a branch leadership command staff or advisory role in the ERC or other locations as directed during a full activation
Other duties as assigned

Demonstrate experience with business continuity concepts and practices (including Incident Command System, etc.), workplace continuity planning, disaster recovery, emergency management

QUALIFICATIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with five to seven years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience related to the discipline.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS:

Clearly and persuasively communicate, coordinate, and present effectively with all levels of the organization and outside agencies. Partners in controversial, complex, or rapidly evolving situations

Read, analyze, interpret, and gather relevant technical procedures, confidential information, threat intelligence, business periodicals, professional journals, cooperative directives, procedures, or governmental regulations

Write and revise reports, business correspondence, procedures, plans, policies, and playbooks and identify, communicate, and implement improvement opportunities

COMPUTER SKILLS:

Strong, working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite

ANALYSIS AND PROBLEM-SOLVING ABILITY:

Make quick decisions and demonstrates sound judgment in a rapidly changing and demanding environment and during volatile situations. Ability to synthesize complex information and solve complex practical problems. Ability to apply creativity to problem solving and utilize analytic skills and modeling capabilities. Ability to identify mitigation and process improvement opportunities and plans as necessary.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, sit, and/or walk up to 2/3 of the time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds.

Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Manual dexterity is required to perform computer applications and good vision is required to perform all aspects of the job. May require long periods of time in conference or meeting when one is required to talk and/or listen. Required to be on call 24-hours a day for emergencies.

Out-of-state travel is occasionally required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Office environment or remote as needed.
