Key Responsibilities:

- Build trust with clients and partners by following through, owning decisions, and ensuring high-quality execution.
- Prioritize safety, quality, and accountability-no shortcuts, no compromises.
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Leverage industry contacts and research to identify potential clients in solar EPC, BESS, and solar energy construction.
- Use CRM and sales enablement tools to track leads, qualify prospects, and manage pipeline progress.
- Develop targeted outreach strategies to engage decision-makers and secure meetings.
- Evaluate market trends and competitor activity to refine prospecting efforts.
- Prioritize high-value opportunities that align with the Company's capabilities and growth objectives.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build trust with clients by delivering clear communication and reliable solutions.
- Maintain relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.
- Use structured processes to track and improve client engagement.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Construction, Estimation, Legal and Marketing, to structure and deliver large-scale energy infrastructure projects that align with client needs and Company branding.
- Gather client feedback to refine offerings and strengthen market positioning.
Sales Cycle Management:
- Own the full sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution.
- Lead the preparation of bids, proposals, and presentations, ensuring they comply with client requirements, industry standards, and brand guidelines.
- Use defined sales processes, CRM, and sales enablement tools to manage leads and conversions efficiently.
- Negotiate contracts to maximize revenue, protect margins, and ensure long-term business success.
- Ensure smooth handoff to operations for project execution and ongoing account management.
Accountability, Growth, and Adaptability:
- Take full ownership of your sales targets, pipeline management, and client commitments, while continuously refining sales strategies to adapt to new markets.
- Use data-driven systems to track performance and drive improvements.
- Maintain accurate reporting in CRM and sales enablement tools and sales enablement tools.
- Ensure all sales activities align with the Company's financial and strategic goals.
- Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and profitability.
Market Expansion and Agility:
- Identify and pursue new opportunities, adapting to shifts in the energy sector and aligning with the Company's evolving services.
- Continuously refine go-to-market strategies, expanding into new industries and market segments as the business evolves.
- Position the Company as a leader in solar EPC, BESS, and energy construction services while preparing for growth in overtime, data center energy solutions, and natural gas projects.
- Use competitive insights and market data to adjust sales tactics.
- Ensure business development efforts drive revenue growth while remaining agile to enter new markets and industries.
Travel and Networking:
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and client meetings to build relationships, identify new business opportunities, and stay ahead of market trends.
- Pursue new leads through strategic in-person engagement, leveraging networking events and targeted outreach.
- Represent LightEdison with professionalism, industry expertise, and credibility to enhance visibility and trust within key markets.
- Prioritize high-value events where decision-makers are present, focusing on opportunities that maximize business impact.
- Establish and develop long-term strategic partnerships that contribute to business expansion and revenue growth.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales within the energy sector, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of the energy industry, including solar energy, EPC services, overtime, data center energy solutions, and overtime, natural gas projects.
- Demonstrated ability to bring an existing book of business and establish new client relationships.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and sales enablement tools.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet business objectives.
