Description:

McGregor PACE (Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly) is a community-based service program that provides in-home healthcare services to the elderly as an alternative to nursing home placement, allowing Seniors to remain at home.

We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Business Development Director to join our team at PACE. As a Business Development Director, you will be responsible for implementing all marketing and referral/intake activities. Directs and develops all program advertising and communications. Responsible for day-to-day operations of the sales and intake functions.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops, maintains, and coordinates the implementation of strategic sales plans
  • Assists CEO in program expansion for new and multi-site development
  • Provide leadership for the Marketing Representatives and Intake Support Coordinator by role modeling behaviors of acceptable PACE sales and enrollment processes
  • Hires, trains, promotes, and provides technical oversight to departmental staff
  • Does not participate in any marketing practices which are prohibited by PACE regulations (460.82): a) discrimination of any kind, excepting age; b) activities that could mislead or confuse potential participants or misrepresent the PACE organization, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and/or the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services; c) provide gifts or payments of any form to induce enrollment;) contracting outreach efforts to individuals or organizations solely for enrollment purposes; e) unsolicited door-to-door marketing
  • Assists in the development of policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance for the PACE program
  • Assists in the annual budget planning process; manages and develops departmental budget
  • Works collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement programs that advance customer service and satisfaction
  • Establishes and maintains community involvement with social service agencies, senior centers, senior housing, medical centers, home care agencies, and other providers
  • Contributes to the initial participant plan of care and documents in the medical record; may attend team meetings; communicates participant changes and issues to the multidisciplinary team as appropriate
  • Is a member of the leadership team, participating in and contributing to the Management team, Quality Council, and other forums which develop organizational strategy and planning
  • In conjunction with human resources, has hiring, firing, and performance review responsibilities


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field (master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of five years experience in the development and implementation of marketing/public relations or business development, preferably in a healthcare environment
  • Current Ohio driver's license and reliable car required
  • Public speaking and presentation skills; strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in home or community-based health/social services organization, preferred
  • Experience working with older adults, especially those with dementia, desirable
  • Basic proficiency in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, and CRM required; database/spreadsheet applications desirable
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid criteria highly desirable
