Business Development Director: Sole Source

Pay From: $170,000 per year
MUST:
Experienced Business Development Director
10+ years in business development/sales
5+ years of experience in IT sales to the Federal Government (IT services and solutions)
Demonstrable knowledge of the SBA 8(a) program and its contracting advantages
Must have at least 3 sole source contract wins in the last 18 month
Experience in a Systems Integrator or related Federal IT services or consulting organization
Strong contract management, negotiation, and influencing skills
An in-depth understanding of technology-based services, products, and networking
Detailed understanding of the Government contracting and acquisition processes
Ability to work concurrently on multiple projects and initiatives
Proven experience identifying and capturing sole source Federal Government contracts
Ability to travel
DUTIES:
Identify and approach prospects through cold calling, networking, and market research
Identify and communicate with influencers and decision makers within the Federal Government where requirements align with EMG offerings and capabilities, specifically sole source procurement advantages
Achieve annual sales goals
Participate in industry events
Research various online resources to identify potential sales opportunities and decision maker access opportunities
